Mitja Kobal is a Slovenian photographer based in Vienna, working across portraiture, architecture, industry, and long-term documentary projects.His practice moves between commissioned assignments and independent work, with a focus on people, spaces, and the environments they inhabit. He works with institutions, architects, NGOs, and cultural organizations, while developing personal projects alongside applied photography. Kobal’s work has been exhibited internationally and published in magazines and books worldwide. His long-term projects have received recognition from international photography awards and institutions.
