Dreams of Reality is an ongoing infrared photography series exploring real places through altered perception.
Shot primarily in Japan, the work transforms cities, landscapes, and everyday scenes into parallel atmospheres where light behaves differently and familiar environments shift into something quietly surreal. Buildings glow, foliage turns luminous, and shadows deepen into cinematic space.
The images are created using cameras converted to capture infrared wavelengths, revealing layers of light and structure that remain invisible to the human eye.
Within the series, chapters such as Dreams, Tokyodrome and Perfect Days explore different facets of this altered vision — from dreamlike landscapes to high-tech urban environments and intimate street moments.
Dreams of Reality examines stillness, isolation, and the fragile boundary between documentation and imagination.
